Who are you in touch with now

Since doing this interview four years ago I have reconnected with a lot of “old friends”.

It has been wonderful to hear from so many long lost colleagues. I have been reminded of a lot of events that I had long forgotten!

I have yet to attend a real reunion, but I am sure it will happen.

Who would you like to trace if you could?

Everybody!!

What was the wildest thing you did at Priory?

Well I worked with Spirit magazine for a long time, so I had some very nice times especially when we used to interview the new students. It was a nice way to meet whoever arrived.  But maybe the craziest thing was writing the horoscope for the spirit. Gosh we used to let our imagination go.

Where do you live and what do you do now?

I live in Portugal. I am married with 3 children and work with my husband in our business.

I still live and work in the same place. Since doing this interview, our company had expanded and we are now doing a lot more international business.

We make special machines by order and have recently made for countries as distant as Malaysia, Romania, Brazil and Puerto Rico.

We are a small company so we have had to work a lot, meaning long workdays. You can visit our site at: www.maquinol.com

This year I had the joy of seeing my 2 daughters finish their University courses.  (Biomedical Engineering and Law). It was a great sense of achievement for us as parents.  We still have an 11 year old son in school.

What do you think of the think of site?

I am delighted to think I will hear from my school friends.I loved going to Priory. There was so much going on always. But I specially enjoyed writing the paper. I became Editor after Michelle Cawley left and when I left Peter Jackson took over, later I heard from him and he was working as a real journalist in Cayman Islands.

This page has made me realise that we are all “small  time” in the vast Priory history. I have seen so much about Priory starting long before I was even born and coming up to quite recently.

When the Priory site started I had more free time and sometimes got inspired to write a few words.

For now I am only a loyal visitor every Sunday, but I never miss the update. It is my “teenage moment” of the week.

When I opened the page this Sunday (21 September 2008) and realised there was no new interview I got worried and started thinking.

We must keep this site alive and actual

So I thought since mine one of the older interviews it would be cool to add some new information and more photos. So much has happened since this started in 2004.

I bet everyone has more to say now than when they did their interview!
