Remember Sarah Wates?
Mickey McSevney and Sarah Wates
When did you attend Priory?
1954-1957
Who was your most unforgettable teacher?
Mrs. Earle who
taught us French. I just loved all the stories she shared with us and the
dedication and enthusiasm she brought to her job. Also enjoyed Mr. Fowler,
who was a very kind, compassionate and fair man and the first person that
was able to get me to understand geometry.
Who were your best friends at school?
Georgette Motycka, Jackie Tate, the Mitchell girls, David Ross, Chris Poyser, Peter Collard, Michael Stone, Bull Melville, Billy Reid
Who are you in touch with now?
Peter Vaculik, David Ross, Chris Poyser, Georgette Motycka, Chris McLeak
Who would you like to trace if we could?
Peter Collard
What's the wildest thing you ever did at Priory?
Smoked a cigarette while sitting in a tree at the end of the playing field! (Quite tame by today's comparisons.)
Who was the 'craziest' person during your time at Priory and why?
Can't think of anyone in particular.
Where do you live and what do you do now?
I live in
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and am a Senior Executive Assistant to
the President of a large Real Estate Development and Property Management
Company. I have been with them for 26 years, ever since coming to Canada in
1978.
