My brother Arjun Kalra (also an ex-Priory student) told me about it.

Juan Carlos Mereles, Rachel Chin-Yee and Erroll Mighty

Who are you in touch with today?

Unfortunately am only REALLY in touch with Enola Williams - I do get news of Juan Carlos Mereles occasionally but I left Priory in 1988 and so lost touch with a lot of people after that.

Enola Williams

Who would you like to track down?

Joost Heikins, Errol Mighty, Lee Wray, Rachel Chin-Yee

Lee Wray and Joost Heikens

What was the wildest thing you ever did at Priory?

God it was a long time ago...spin the bottle....in J5/J6...and we thought we were soooo BAD!

What memories/views do you have of Priory?

Gosh my memories of Priory are still the best of any educational institution I have ever attended!  Our teachers nurtured us and taught us to think for ourselves.  Life was not about who got the highest grades or did the most homework but about the fullness and richness of everything.

Who was the craziest person during your time at Priory?

There was a guy in my class - Sakynah Hilton - he was pretty crazy.  Don't know where he's gone now.

Sakynah Hilton

Where do you live and what do you do nowadays?

I live in New Delhi, India.  After Jamaica I lived in Michigan, USA; London, UK; Geneva, Switzerland.  I met my husband (Angad Kalaan) in 2000 and we were married in 2005 (Enola Williams actually came to the wedding!) we now have a beautiful 7 month old daughter (Vanya).  I did my PhD in Social Anthropology from the LSE and have been working as a Consultant in India.  At the moment am on MOMMY break but plan to go back to work soon.

Tell us about any significant others

My husband Angad is a professional polo player - he is the captain of the Indian World Cup polo team and my family runs a polo club at our farm just a few kms out of Delhi.  My daughter Vanya is 7 months old and getting naughtier by the instant.  I wish I could send her to Priory too!

Tell us about your most unusual meeting with a Priory person

Dhruv Prasad - he was at Priory for two years (1986-1987) and we were in the same class.  And then I actually met up with him completely randomly in India and now turns out he's engaged to a girl who I know in Delhi.
