When did you attend Priory

  1981-1984

How did you locate the Priory website?

I just decided to browse on the Internet to see if I could find anything on Priory...

Who were your most memorable teachers?

Mrs. Gregory was my greatest inspiration while I was a student at Priory.  She challenged me to do my best at all times.  I also have fond memories of Mr. Earl Eccles who taught Chemistry.  He was always encouraging and make Chemistry fun!

Who were your best friends at Priory?

Jackie Jones. We shared a lot of good times together.  She also helped me through Chemistry !

Jackie Jones

Who are you in touch with today?

Jackie and I are still in touch even though she lives in NY and I am in Miami.  We do a couple marathon phone calls each year.

Who would you like to track down?

I actually got in touch with Mrs. Gregory, Wayne Brown and Ingrid Thomas since finding the website in December.  Other people I would like to find would be Debbie Woung, Daniela Graham (she may be in Germany) and Mr. Eccles.  If anyone knows what happened to Ricky Bird, please let me know.

What was the wildest thing you did at Priory?

I wasn't exactly one of the "wild" ones.  After spending so many years in Catholic schools, Priory was so much fun that I tried my best not to ruin the experience with crazy stunts.

Tell us about your memories of Priory and Jamaica

My memories are all good now.  After so much time, the negative stuff is not important anymore.  I was sad to see that the school had changed so much and that the Priory I knew is not there anymore...

Who was the craziest person during your time at Priory?

There were quite a few "characters" during my time there.

Where do you live and what do you do nowadays?

I live in Miami and work as a Medical Technologist in a large hospital lab.  I also teach Medical Technology students (part time) at a College here.

Tell us about any significant others

My significant others are my husband Leon and our three boys- Brandon, Cameron and Jonathan.

Tell us about your most unusual meeting with a Priory person

No unusual meetings with students yet..  I had the honor of having Mrs. Gregory attend my wedding here in Miami however.  She took the opportunity in her toast to remind me how "disappointed" she was that I decided to study sciences over English in college (smile). I was one of the strange ones who wanted to read Shakespeare and Keats while doing dissections in Biology...so I did both!

What do you think of the Priory Website?

The Priory website is truly amazing!  I have enjoyed the memories the photos and interviews brought back. Stephen, keep up the great work!
