When did you attend Priory?
1957-1963
Who was your most unforgettable teacher?
Greta Fowler, a fantastic human person. Always getting herself involved in causes. I know as I was boarding with her and Henry Fowler. My relationship with these people was not only as a pupil but as a small boy they had the care of. They were a bit like my parents. I felt very sad when I heard of Greta's passing away at the American hospital in Paris. Since then I was once at the house and also met with Henry.

Who were your best friends at school?
Corinne Martin the fastest girl on two legs! Richard her brother, Susan Bucan and Mary Miller.
Who are you in touch with now?
Not with any since I have lost contact with Chifee (Corinne) a while ago. Very unfortunate.
Who would you like to trace if we could?
All of them in
my class.
What's the wildest thing you ever did at Priory?
Make wasp catchers out of paper. Since today I have a wasp phobia. Why? Well its simple. One day Corinne and I were going to race on her property. We asked Richard to play the starter. He did so by throwing an almond into a tree just on a wasp nest. I was stung a number of times on the face. Since then you can imagine what goes on inside me when I see one close by. ITS WAR!!

Who was the wildest person during your time at Priory?
I really do not recall but I do recall a strange guy called Prendergast I think his first name was David.
Where do you live and what do you do now?
I live in Belgium near Waterloo. Darn shame for a Frenchman! I had been in the medical business for 32 years. Sold my company stared another but only on a consultancy basis for export. I also have another branch importing and selling in France & the Benelux gun cleaning systems and other items for sports. I am an Olympic Coach for the Belgian shooting federation in Olympic Trench and Skeet. Finally I shoot myself and am an international shooting judge for the FITASC.
Tell us about any particular Priory recollection
The Sharp brothers. They as I remember them were quite big and strong. On sports days they never went unnoticed. I had always kept in mind Owen's face Why I don't know. Then I got the news he was an Air Jamaica pilot and Captain. Once on a flight from Europe via Miami I asked about him and there he was as a captain on our flight. My kids got to se the cockpit and I spent most of the time also in this now very restricted area. It was great. Owen was still the same.
What do you think of the Priory website?
Great. there is nothing more important than to get back in contact with those we knew. Thanks a lot for a good chance to connect with everyone
