Remember Dawn Eaton?

Jamie & Dawn

When did you attend Priory?

Who was your most unforgettable teacher?

Mrs. Marie Gregory: The respect she commanded and the dignity she brought to teaching. She was tiny in stature, but I can still remember her looking "down" on six-foot boys with complete authority. My brother and I also lived with her for our last year at Priory, which was very pleasant.

Who were your best friends at Priory?

Lesley Taylor, Alison Baldwin.

Who are you in touch with now

Lesley Taylor.

Who would you like to trace if you could?

Alison Baldwin, and anyone in my class (who did O-levels in '77 or '78).

What was the wildest thing you did at Priory?

Not one for wild things

Who was the craziest person during your time at Priory?

I don't recall anyone too 'crazy', but there were a lot of 'characters' like Thomas 'Mandingo' Desulme, Peter Jackson, William Cocking...I wish I could remember more names...

Where do you live and what do you do now?

After eight years in England getting our doctorates at Oxford and Cambridge universities, my husband and I have been back in Canada for nine years, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where I am at home educating our four children (while teaching some piano lessons on the side).

Tell us about any significant others

My husband Jamie Muir is a Philosophy professor at the University of Winnipeg, and we have four children, Melissa (16), Heather (11), Jamieson (8) and Nathaniel (4).

What do you think of the think of site?

It's lovely to see faces from the distant past again. Great job, Stephen!
