1970 - 1972

Mrs. Pearline Nicholson ... her short skirts and sexy legs ... if you were there you would know what I mean
Who were your best friends at Priory?
Ed Morgan, Ernie Hedges, Tim Paulin, John Raymes, Lee Mills, Vicki Nichols, and Dave Elrod
Tim Paulin, Ernie Hedges & John Raymes - cool car!
Who are you in touch with now
Ed Morgan, Sue Thurin, Allison Bruneman, and of course, my "little" brother, Johnny
Who would you like to trace if you could?
Ernie Hedges, John Raymes,Tim Paulin, and Lee Mills
What was the wildest thing you did at Priory?
Hard to choose from ... perhaps the day I skipped school and went down to Trafalgar Square and got busted by the strictest teacher at Priory. While playing a slot machine, drinking a beer, and smoking, I hit the 7-7-7 jackpot ... and just when the bells and whistles were going off and the money was pouring out, I heard a stern, loud, angry voice behind me yell, "Carroll, I'll see you back at school!!!" It was my rugby coach Mr. Brinn, the last person I would have wanted to face at that moment. Needless to say, it spoiled a great moment for me.
Who was the craziest person during your time at Priory?
Besides myself, I would have to say a tie between Dave Elrod, Simon Blake, and Randy Cargill.
Where do you live and what do you do now?
After serving as a pastor and social worker in Singapore for 20 years, I now find myself in Istanbul, Turkey teaching English, writing annual reports for major Turkish corporations, plus counselling.
Tell us about any significant others
I am happily married to Nursel, a beautiful Turkish lady I met and worked with when I was leading a disaster relief effort for the victims of the devastating 1999 earthquakes here. I have two children from my first marriage: My daughter Kim, 24, teaches 2nd grade at a school in Waco located in the neighborhood with the highest crime rate in Texas. My son, Chris, is a senior at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas where he plays soccer and was recently named Academic All-American.
What do you think of the think of site?
In the words of the man who originally set up this website, "Stephen Smith is a genius! What more can I say?!" I agree 100%!! Thanks, Stephen, for getting us all back together again, something I dreamed about for many years but never thought possible.
