When did you attend Priory?

1971 - 77

Who was your most unforgettable teacher?

Mrs. Gonzalez my Chemistry teacher. I was in the remedial Math's class in 5th form and she came as substitute teacher. She had a real problem with me as I was the class practical joker. That time however I was innocent and she called me up in front of the class and grabbed me up in  my neck and tore my shirt. This resulted in me knocking her down and breaking her glasses. It could have been worse, but I have to thank Gregory Marzouca who held me off her. I had to apologise to her and ended up 'on report' (remember that? having a paper for teachers to sign and comment on after every class). I also had to do all my Math's and Chemistry classes for the rest of term outside Mr. Williams' (the Principal) office. I didn't get expelled though as she was wrong to grab my neck.

One love Mrs. Gonzalez!

What's the wildest thing you ever did at Priory?

Sorry - can't say!

Who was the craziest person during your time at Priory?

There were 3! Cyril 'Abduna Monamatapa' Bailey and Steven Hannah. Abduna was well ABDUNA! The Voicer of Black Consciousness on campus - just that he was obviously from a different planet. His friend Thorwald Van Der Tooren was the perfect side kick too. All day long the whole school was his stage and he was playing the biggest comic you could imagine - Priory's Charlie Chaplin.
