When did you attend Priory

1972 to 1976

How did you locate the Priory website?

My parents in Florida heard about the website through friends. My mother attended Priory.

Who were your most memorable teachers?

Mr. Day. Both Mr. & Mrs Day were the coolest most hip couple and very good teachers. They had this fantastic house in the mountains..

Mr. Barrie Day

Who were your best friends at Priory?

Craig Young and David Townsend. We all played golf together and had some wild times at the Constant Spring Golf course. Craig had a lot of freedom and was always willing to push the envelope for a good time.

Who are you in touch with today?

No one

Who would you like to track down?

Craig Young, David Townsend and Ralph Timmerman

David Townsend

What was the wildest thing you ever did at Priory?

I'll never tell (I was a pretty conservative kid!)

What memories/views do you have of Priory?

I have fond memories of Priory. The international flavor of the school and all the cultures and countries that were represented there was unique for a high school in Jamaica. It was interesting getting an outsiders perspective on Jamaican life.

Who was the craziest person during your time at Priory?

Tigger was certainly one of the craziest. The long hair and goofiness made him special.

Where do you live and what do you do nowadays?

I live just outside Boulder, Colorado in the USA. Beautiful mountains but no Caribbean sea. I own a consulting firm specializing in oil and gas production, operations and marketing.

Tell us about any significant others

I have a beautiful wife - Margaret, and three wonderful children: Adam (18), Phillip (16) and Rebecca (13). Adam was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Phillip in Houston, Texas; and Rebecca in Katy, Texas.

Tell us about your most unusual meeting with a Priory person

Since leaving Priory (and Jamaica) in 1976, I have lived in Victoria, B.C., Toronto, Ontario, Edmonton, Alberta, Calgary, Alberta, Houston, TX and now Boulder, Colorado. I have not encountered any Priory alumni in all my travels.

What do you think of the Priory Website?

I think it is a great web site and it brought back a flood of memories about my childhood and growing up in Jamaica. Keep up the good work!!
